Over the past two decades, while building the award-winning interior design firm, Jennifer McGahan Interiors, Jennifer has renovated and designed hundreds of homes in Ottawa.  Known for her timeless, classic design style, her work has been featured in Ottawa At Home magazine, Luxe Magazine, Our Homes magazine, and The Ottawa Citizen,  and she has had guest appearances on several local television shows.  After being a finalist of the Business Woman of the Year award in 2019, Jennifer set her sights on expanding her business portfolio into the retail sector, and opened SHOWROOM furniture + lighting in April of 2024.  The boutique style showroom in Stittsville Ontario offers luxury designer lighting and furniture for upscale homes, offices and commercial spaces.  

Through her experience in interior design and renovation, Jennifer developed a passion for real estate investment and construction.  She is currently developing land in Stittsville, to add much needed stock to the housing supply, improve her community, and create opportunity for women to invest and create wealth.  Jennifer is currently raising female capital for an all women-owned rental housing development of 64 stacked townhomes, the only development of its kind in Ottawa.
