LEEP Walls:
Builders, architects, building officials and engineering service companies are invited to hear best practices to meet the changing codes with available technologies and products with industry subject matter experts, including:
- New wall construction solutions, framing options, insulation materials, air barrier solutions, water management solutions
- Best practices to meet the changing codes with available technologies and products with industry subject matter experts
- Building science design principles for constructing good walls and address potential warranty risks
- Discover turn-key solutions that meet codes and voluntary programs

Senior Project Manager, Greater Ottawa Area
Troy is a highly experienced Registered Energy Advisor, architectural technologist and building science technician who has supported some of Canada’s largest home builders in developing sustainability programs and meeting new energy codes. Coming to us from Building Energy Inc., Troy joins Building Knowledge as Senior Project Manager, Greater Ottawa Area.
After starting his career in design roles for building system manufacturers, Troy founded his own residential and commercial design and drafting firm. The company boasted a wide range of successful new construction and renovation projects and was well known for its capabilities in energy efficiency.
Mark Rosen, AIBC, OAA, M.ARCH, CACEA MEA
Director of Building Science, Building Knowledge Canada
Mark is a well-known professional architect, Registered Energy Advisor, and building science consultant and is a partner and the Director of Building Science at BKC. Mark has always been passionate about creating buildings that perform exceptionally well. He has helped develop software tools, sits on several advisory boards, and continues to actively lead the industry toward positive change.
