Homesol Building Solutions, in collaboration with the Canadian Home Builders’ Association, the City of Ottawa’s Better Homes Ottawa program, and the Greater Ottawa Home Builders Association, is excited to offer another round of Advanced Building Science and Net Zero training.

Please note: To enroll in the CHBA Net Zero Builder training, you must first successfully complete the Advanced Building Science course with a grade of 75% or higher.

The CHBA Net Zero Builder training is open to residential building professionals (including trades, home renovators, and home builders). Upon completion of all sections of the training, your company will be featured on the Better Homes Ottawa website.

The products/materials/equipment to achieve Net Zero/Ready are now more widely available across Canada, and more CHBA Qualified Net Zero Energy Advisors are ready and able to help builders design climate-specific packages to address each project’s needs.

In this online course, participants learn the latest developments on approaches to Net Zero/Ready Homes focused on optimizing performance and costs. Attendees will gain insight into Net Zero/Ready design principles, equipment options, emerging technologies, and construction practices. This course reflects the advancements in technology and innovations in the Canadian housing industry.

 Participants must complete the exam and achieve a grade of 75% or higher to obtain certification.

Online CHBA Net Zero Builder Training Course fee: $499.00 + HST per participant.

As part of CHBA’s Enabling Tiered Codes Implementation and Market Preparedness project, funded by NRCan’s Codes Acceleration Fund (CAF), we’re pleased to offer rebates to CHBA members who successfully pass the exam for the Building Science Training course and Net Zero Builder Training course.
Rebates are $330 per course.
