Meet the Speakers:

Diana Ho, Executive Director, Developer Solutions, Platform Insurance

Diana is an insurance and risk management professional with nine years of experience specializing in surety and construction. She spent seven years in enterprise risk management at BMO Financial Group, advancing to Assistant Manager, followed by 1.5 years in business development and client management. Her accounting background strengthens her financial and analytical expertise. Diana has managed complex accounts for leading developers and construction firms across the country. In senior leadership roles, she combines technical expertise with commercial strategy, delivering collaborative, market-driven solutions that create value for clients and partners.

Alan Sung, Executive Director, Developer Solutions, Platform Insurance

Alan brings extensive expertise in real estate, finance, and insurance. A graduate of the University of Toronto’s School of Architecture, he began his career in architecture before moving into financial services, where he helped fund leading Canadian retail and food brands and later underwrote development loans. He subsequently held senior underwriting and management roles with two of the world’s largest insurers, combining his architectural knowledge with financial expertise to support developers and general contractors. Today, Alan is Executive Director of Platform’s Developer Surety team and leads operations in Vancouver, driving innovative surety solutions for development projects across Canada.
